One Act, Comedy
Two old friends in their 70s, the assertive Len and the quieter Bert, along with their respective wives, Dolly and Rose, have a few late night drinks before bedtime in the rather shabby lounge of their holiday hotel. Their conversation ranges far and wide as they discuss many matters, few of any significance. But when left alone, Len, prompted by Bert, recalls childhood memories that have remained with him throughout his life.
A warm, gentle play, it scores in its shrewdly accurate dialogue and very funny character observation.
