One Act, Serious Play
A middle-aged woman found wandering in the park in the early hours of the morning with blood-stained hands ends up in a police station. She is questioned by a brusque Detective Inspector and a more sympathetic female colleague. There are many questions asked but few answered. The two detectives disagree on their approach and tension rises between them. Where are the woman’s two children? Who is her husband? Why is she so reluctant to reveal any details of her life?
This is proving to be a very popular play, well-paced, strongly written, with three excellent roles to be explored.
